Why did you join NXGEN Residential UK? Did the program meet your expectations?

I joined the NXGEN residential camp initially because the experience and the opportunity to go over and play in the UK doesn't happen every day. And I was really excited to have that opportunity and get to go over and better my game and my experiences and really diversify my portfolio, I guess you could say. 

I think what I was looking for from the camp was mostly, I wanted to get better. I knew that it would be a really good experience, but I also was hoping that I could improve my game when I went over and get a new style of play. And I think the program met my expectations, and probably exceeded my expectations as I was able to get better and I had a great experience.

What was your favorite experience with NXGEN Residential UK?

My favorite experience from the NXGEN camp would be getting to go see all the local clubs play. All the football that we played was really great, and I enjoyed that immensely. But I think that it was really cool to get to see all of the local teams play each other and getting to see the local stadiums and just clubs around the area. And I got to see where my hometown coach got to play and [where] he grew up and where he really learned how to play football. And that was a really cool experience for me.

What kind of impact did NXGEN Residential UK coaches have on your development? 

All the coaches were great, very friendly, very open to questions and anything you might have for them. I personally loved Hark's, or Paul Harkness. One story I can think of was, we were at a Farnborough game, and it was just really cool to hear about all of his experiences playing for the club and how he grew up through the game and got to learn the game and love it like I do.

What do you like about the facilities used by NXGEN Residential UK?

I thought the facilities were great. I think what I really loved about them is that a lot of them were grass, and it's good quality grass. I feel like we don't get that opportunity over here as much anymore as a lot of the fields are becoming more and more artificial turf and stuff like that. So to have the opportunity to play on really nice grass and have the ball zip around on the wet dew of the grass was really nice.

Would you recommend NXGEN Residential UK to a friend?

I would recommend NXGEN Residential Camp to a friend just because it's such a different experience than what I get here playing over in America. I think that getting to play with new players and playing in a different area and a different, almost a different game style wise. I think it's just such a great experience for expanding your game and really being able to grow yourself as a player and person. So I think that if someone was looking for that opportunity, I would definitely recommend them for NXGEN residential camp.
