Why did you join NXGEN Residential UK? Did the program meet your expectations?

I joined this program because it was presented to me by my club coach, and I thought it was just an unbelievable opportunity, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So I decided that I would go for it. Me and five of my friends ended up going over there.

I was looking for a new experience playing soccer, a good time, things like that, something new to try, and it way exceeded my expectations. Playing with the English players was unbelievable, and the level of training and preparation that I got from my own season was very, very high. And overall, it was a great time.

What was your favorite experience with NXGEN Residential UK?

My favorite part of the camp was experiencing the different style of soccer. Coming from America, the play over in England was much different, and it was awesome to get, like, a little bit of a different experience of playing with new players in a different style that I was used to. So that was a lot of fun. And also going and seeing some of the famous sites of England such as like London and such was, absolutely unreal.

What kind of impact did NXGEN Residential UK coaches have on your development? 

The coaches all at every club I went to were absolutely unreal. Every single you know, you never know with kids coming, like, joining their sessions how they react, but every single one was super welcoming and very helpful in terms of coaching. I can say that I learned something from every single one of them and had, like, no negative experience at any club. So every single coach that I had pushed me to try to make me better, but at the same time was welcoming and, trying to make sure that I was comfortable in the club.

What do you like about the facilities used by NXGEN Residential UK?

The facilities are all super nice. Our boarding and lodging accommodations are all super nice, very comfortable while we were there. And then the facilities that we trained at were all very, very nice. You know, when you think of teams that have super nice facilities, you think of, you know, the big clubs or whatever. But truly, all the stops we were at had top-notch facilities. The grass and the turf were super nice, or the stadium itself was really nice. So everything we had was something that was very high quality and something that, you know, if you train there consistently, would make you a better player. So everything, you had would be anything you'd be looking for, to try to be a better soccer player.

Would you recommend NXGEN Residential UK to a friend?

Overall, I would 100% recommend this to any soccer player that's looking to get this kind of experience. In the sport of soccer, I think there's really nothing like it going over to a new country, experiencing English culture, English soccer, just things that, you know, you don't really get a taste of if you're not from there. And then, it's also, you're gonna become a better player. You're gonna get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. So I would say if you have the chance to go, 100% go. I would definitely recommend this.
